During this 6-night dive expedition, we'll spend 3 days exploring the vibrant underwater world of Cozumel and 3 days diving into the captivating cenotes. With a focus on underwater photography and ocean conservation, our itinerary promises an enriching experience.

In Cozumel, we'll encounter colorful coral reefs teeming with marine life, including tropical fish, rays, sharks, and vibrant corals. The island's rich biodiversity provides photographers with endless opportunities to capture breathtaking images of colorful fish, majestic sea turtles, and intricate coral formations.

While in the cenotes - ancient underwater cave systems, found throughout the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, there is a hidden world of breathtaking beauty and wonder. we'll be mesmerized by the surreal underwater landscapes, intricate rock formations, and crystal-clear waters that reveal hidden caves and passages.

Ran mor will be your trip leader and accomplished underwater photographer. Merging his dual passions, he has curated a unique experience for our guests. Ran is dedicated to sharing his expertise, assisting others in capturing extraordinary images, and leveraging photography as a catalyst for conservation.

Throughout the trip, Ran will conduct an engaging underwater photography workshop, guiding you to optimize your gear for exceptional results. With extensive experience, including his time with Mozaik underwater cameras, Ran possesses comprehensive knowledge of various underwater camera gear in the market. Join us on this adventure, where Ran's insights will elevate your underwater photography skills and deepen your connection with the mesmerizing world beneath the waves.

Elasmobranch identification course (sharks and rays)

We will participate in this course of COR - Cozumel Ocean Research organization.

Elasmobranchs (sharks and rays) are key species in marine ecosystems, as they are predators, their role in the trophic chain is essential for balance in marine diversity. Some biological characteristics make this group of fish highly vulnerable to overfishing and coastal development, which is why populations in the world are at the peril.

Mexico is the second country in terms of diversity
of this group of fish, in particular the Mexican Caribbean is estimated to have 85 species, some associated with coastal areas, coral reefs, sea grasses and mangroves.

What we will do

1. During the dives you will visit sites where it is common to observe species of sharks and rays.

2. Capture images and take data to identify the species sighted.

3. Observation, video station setup and data collection by COR experts
